We are looking for a couple to work hard when needed, be conscientious but also to enjoy the mountain and the ski resort. We work hard but we also make sure that we have time to play.
Both applicants of the couple must have a love of cooking and one must have experience of catering. The couple must have the ability to work on own initiative, always smiling and happy in front of guests, welcoming, friendly, chatty and accommodating.
The couple must be willing to take responsibility for hosting the chalet, making sure our guests are well looked after, kitchen hygiene, catering and cleaning to a high standard and able to socialise with the guests. You will be providing a cooked breakfast, cakes, pre dinner canapes and 3 course evening meal with wine whilst creating a relaxed dinner party atmosphere.
Other Duties will include the following:
Working alongside the resort rep to provide the best holiday possible for our guests. This will include getting feedback on how lessons are going and ensuring that the guests are happy throughout their holiday.
Checking and, when necessary, adding chemicals, emptying and cleaning of hot tub.
Snow clearance
All the above will form part of the pre season training which will include practicing the menu, how to set up the chalet and all the do's and don't of running a catered chalet and having a great season.
Who are we looking for?
EU passport, French Carte de Sejour or valid EU work permit covering the contract period of beginning December to the end of April 2022. Please do not apply for this position unless you fulfill one of these criteria.
Experience dinner party level catering Hygiene certificate or prepared to obtain one Interested in skiing and/or snowboarding Speak English One of the couple must have a clean driving license and be eligible to drive in France
