Chalet Driver/Assistant at Alpine Ethos

Alpine Ethos is a small, privately owned, dynamic chalet company based in Méribel. We operate 8 luxury chalets in Merbiel and La Tanis in the Three Valleys, one of the biggest and best skiing locations in the world. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced drivers/assistants with a passion to deliver exceptional customer service. Last season we were proud to have received a Trip Advisor Travellers’ Choice award and a feefo rating of 4.9/5 which reflects our guests appreciation of our outstanding service which can only be achieved by a great team.


THE ROLE

- providing a professional minibus service for our guests from their chalet to the main lift hub in Méribel

- all guest transport is within Méribel, no airport transfers

- driving team members to/from our staff accommodation and their chalets in Méribel 

- transporting supplies to chalets

- assisting with weekly shopping trip to Moutiers/Albertville

- clearing away breakfast and cleaning the kitchen in the chalets on the chalet hosts days off

- helping hosts with general chalet cleaning and bed-making on changeover day

- snow clearing

- general chalet diy/maintenance

- daily cleanliness check of minibuses, weekly garage power wash and refueling 
 

REQUIREMENTS

- at least 23 years old for insurance

- minimum of 5 years driving experience 

- full, clean license

- experience of driving 6 meter vans / 9 seat minibuses 

- experience of driving in winter conditions including snow and ice

- previously worked in a customer facing hospitality role

- excellent time management skills

- good standard of spoken English

- have an EU passport or French Carte de Séjour although UK applicants are welcome and assistance will be given with the application process
