Chalet Chef Role
Alpoholics are looking for talented chefs with positive attitudes and a love of the mountains to be part of our team in La Plagne. You will design and cook a unique six day menu of outstanding quality, keeping high standards of cleanliness throughout the chalet, controlling stock and budgets and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will be adaptable and willing to muck in for the collective effort around the chalet and enjoy meeting new people.
Brief Job Description:
- Create and plan weekly tailor-made 3 course menus in conjunction with your particular guests’ dietary requirements and available ingredients.
- Prepare aperitifs and canapés on arrival day.
- Provide a full continental breakfast as well as a varying ‘hot option’ .
- Provide children’s dinner if and when appropriate.
- Maintain weekly budgets and ensure all receipts are submitted in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensure that your chalet kitchen is always clean and tidy.
- Assist in keeping your chalet clean and tidy at all times and creating a warm and friendly environment for guests. We’re a team here at Alpoholics so be prepared to step out of the kitchen when needed!
- Snow clearing when needed.
- Daily testing and maintenance of hot tub chemical levels
